Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Homemaker at The Shores, a UMC community in Ocean City, NJ. Per diem role offering $17.24 per hour based on experience. You will help prepare meals, assist residents with dining, and support a safe, clean dining environment.

We value service-minded individuals ready to follow dietary needs and safety protocols, with ServSafe and Dining Assistant Training encouraged. This position is on-site and part of a mission-driven community.

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete ServSafe course and obtain certificate.
• Willingness to complete Dining Assistant Training course.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality meals and snacks following menus, dietary needs, and food safety regulations.
• Accommodate special diets and substitutions to meet nutritional needs and preferences.
• Encourage resident input on food choices, menus, and meal presentation.
• Assist residents with eating and dining support according to care guidelines.
• Follow sanitation, food handling, and temperature monitoring procedures for safety.
