Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Rehabilitation Technician - Per Diem at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. The role requires shifting weekends (2 per month) with flexible start times and potential duties across a second location in Naperville.

You will perform cleaning, equipment prep, patient transport, basic clerical tasks, and wound care assistance under supervision, with CPR/BLS certification and preferred Rehab Aide experience.

Qualifications

• High school level communication and/or math skills required, no technical training prior to hire, and less than three months of prior experience.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
• Prior Rehabilitation Aide experience preferred.
• Ability to walk or stand for an hour or more, lift or carry objects over 20 pounds, push/pull carts, and assist in age-appropriate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, cleans and disinfects assigned areas per procedures and maintains equipment inventory.
• Transports patients as needed and performs general clerical duties (phones, messages, etc.).
• Assists in wound care and dressing changes in hydrotherapy.
