Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Technician for Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. This per diem role offers shifts across days, evenings and weekends to meet department needs, with hourly pay ranging from $19.71 to $28.58 depending on experience.

You will assess and treat patients across age groups, administer respiratory therapies, document treatments, and collaborate with physicians and staff. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently attending an AMA approved school of respiratory therapy with successful completion of at least half of the program.
• Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients across pediatric to geriatric age groups.
• Administer respiratory therapy including gases, medications, and humidity therapy.
• Consult with physicians and instruct patients and staff on therapy techniques and equipment use.
• Initiate and maintain patient care records and respiratory care documentation.
