Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking a licensed RN to work with students in San Jose, CA for the 25-26 school year. This in-person, per diem role offers a schedule that can fit your lifestyle, competitive pay starting at $38 per hour, and opportunities to develop a school nursing credential.

You will manage care for students with chronic conditions, coordinate with families and school staff, maintain immunization records, provide first aid, and participate in emergency planning.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Current negative TB result.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with providers, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor immunization records for state compliance.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries.
• Develop and implement emergency plans and drills.
• Maintain confidential health records.
• Communicate health status and follow-up with parents.
• Assist with mobility and lifting as needed (up to 40 pounds).

Overview:

• Monday-Friday (Day Shifts, No Weekends)
• Starting at $38/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
