CBH Care in Bergen County, New Jersey is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to support a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. The role focuses on medication education, monitoring patient health, and providing treatment recommendations as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license must be active in New Jersey.
• Experience with psychiatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides consumers with medication education and monitors their health/medical issues, providing treatment recommendations as needed.
• Identifies side effects and/or problems with medication and alerts staff psychiatrists.
• Ensures all clinical and administrative documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Identifies medical training needs of staff and clients and provides education and consultation on medication and health maintenance issues when appropriate.
