Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Recovery Specialist at the Danvers Treatment Center. This per diem role requires a minimum of two shifts per month plus any available shifts, offering exposure to a 24/7 detox environment and close nursing oversight.

You will monitor client activities, conduct wellbeing checks, perform admissions screenings, and handle intake logistics. Prior experience with substance use populations is preferred and a MA driver's license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with substance use population is preferred.
• Valid MA Driver's License in good standing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being check.
• Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
