Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate imaging services for inpatients and outpatients on a per diem, non-benefited basis. The role requires coordinating equipment, ensuring safety, and collaborating with radiologists to optimize image quality.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or AMA-approved program, Nevada radiography license, and AART certification within one year. BLS within 60 days is also required.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English proficiently to perform duties safely.
• Prefer an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or AMA approved hospital-based program.
• Nevada license for Medical Radiography at time of hire.
• AART certification within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures per Merrill's guidelines.
• Coordinate imaging equipment and ensure contrast quality and patient safety.
• Manage patient flow and safety across adolescent to geriatric patients.
• Maintain equipment, QA checks, film processing, and inventory.
• Document patient history and informed consent; assist other modalities as needed.
