Job summary

South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the HXP Urgent Care Weymouth facility on a part-time basis. Under the Department Manager, you will perform interpretive, patient care and technical radiologic functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.

A per diem pay rate of $50/hour is available, with a compensation range of $34.34 - $46.22 per hour. Rotation is Day/Eve; essential duties include patient verification, preparing patients, positioning,

Qualifications

• Perform radiologic procedures with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Explain preparation and instructions to patients before exams.
• Follow radiation safety policies and protective measures.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and accuracy of requisitions.
• Position patients and select immobilization devices as needed.
• Set up and operate radiographic equipment to produce quality images.
• Monitor patient during procedures and respond to adverse events.
• Explain post-procedural instructions and ensure documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and document information in medical records.
