Job summary

South Shore Health System in Weymouth, MA is seeking a part-time Radiography Technologist to perform interpretive, patient care and technical radiologic duties under the supervision of the Department Manager.

Responsibilities include image production, equipment operation, safety, patient prep and post-procedure instructions; requires MA RT license or temporary license and BLS certification; six months' proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year radiography program.
• Six (6) months to be fully proficient.
• License/Registration: MA RT or RT Temp license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform interpretive, patient care and technical radiologic functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis.
• Prepare and operate radiographic equipment and imaging devices.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort and confidentiality; document required information.
