Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic x-ray and C-Arm procedures across patient groups from neonatal to geriatric. You will prepare patients, assist radiologists, and help ensure accurate charges and quality control within the imaging department.

Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of patient care, complying with safety policies, and contributing to a collaborative health system environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24 month School of Radiologic Technology that is ARRT Recognized.
• CRT in Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy required.
• Hospital Mandatory Education Requirements: Orientation, Environment of Care, OSHA, Infection Control, Abuse/Neglect, and Ethics. Tuberculosis Screening, Licensure renewal, BLS
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic x-ray and C-Arm procedures for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Prepares room and patient and assists radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and ensures proper charges are captured.
• Direct and supervises quality control in the department.
