Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Sherman Oaks Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulatory standards. The role serves as the primary interface with patients and staff to address imaging needs and ensures timely transmission of images to PACS.

The position requires certification, relevant state/federal regulatory knowledge, and at least one year of radiology experience. Per diem status with flexible shifts is offered.

Qualifications

• Current CRT issued by CDPH
• Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months
• Venipuncture certificate within 3 months
• ARRT-R is required
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations
• BCLS certificate required and current
• At least one year radiology technologist experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations
• Acts as first line interface with customers to address imaging needs
• Participates in PI/QC activities
• Processes and transmits images to PACS
