Job summary

Montclair Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist on a Per Diem basis in California. The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulations, interfacing with patients to address imaging needs, and contributing to PI/QC activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDPH CRT, ARRT-R, and fluoroscopy permit within 6 months, plus venipuncture certification and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Current CRT issued by CDPH.
• Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire.
• Venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintained.
• At least one year experience as Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
• Interfaces with customers and is the first line to address imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and transmits images to PACS.
