Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Sherman Oaks Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulatory standards. The role serves as the primary interface with patients and staff to address imaging needs and ensures timely transmission of images to PACS.

The position requires certification, relevant state/federal regulatory knowledge, and at least one year of radiology experience. Per diem status with flexible shifts is offered.

• Venipuncture certificate within 3 months
• ARRT-R is required

• At least one year radiology technologist experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Must have Current CRT issued by CDPH
• 2. Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire
• 3. Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire
• 4. ARRT-R is required
• 5. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
• 6. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current
• 7. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
• 8. Proficient computer skills

Pay Transparency

Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $31.00 to $47.72. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
