Job summary

CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Radiology Department. The RN will administer nursing care per ANA standards, NJ Practice Act, and hospital policies, with 24-hour on-call weekend coverage on a rotating basis.

The role requires two years of nursing experience including critical care, NJ RN license, CPR, ACLS, IV therapy, and telemetry certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program for Registered Nurses.
• NJ RN license required.
• CPR, ACLS, IV Therapy certifications required.
• Telemetry certification preferred.
• Two years nursing experience including critical care.

Responsibilities

• Implements nursing care per patient care plan.
• Provides nursing care for angiographic and other special procedures.
• Involves patient and family in developing an individualized care plan.
• Administers medications per hospital policies and manufacturer instructions.
• Maintains and updates nursing practice; responds to emergencies.
• Documents assessments, diagnoses, care plans, and progress in medical records.
• Acts as liaison between Nursing and Radiology departments and coordinates care.
• Float between units and provide 1:1 patient observation when needed.
