Pay Range: $47.85 - $67.04 per hour

Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Qualifications

• BSN or actively enrolled in a BSN program with an expected completion date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interventional radiology experience.
• Critical care experience.

Certifications and Licenses Required

• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement.
• ACLS.
• Vascular access certification preferred.

Scheduling Requirements

• Day Shift.
• Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 2 shifts a month.
• Per Diem.
• Will need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday.
• On call.

Responsibilities

The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include implementing the Hospital's mission and goals through established policies, procedures and performance improvement activities, organization and administration of individualized age‑specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, assessment of each patient's age‑specific needs and determination of age‑specific treatment modalities, utilization of skills to effectively manage clinical quality outcomes for disease‑specific populations, maintaining required documentation and statistical data needed to generate reports, assisting with the development, implementation and adherence of clinical pathways, measuring clinical outcomes, maintaining clinical data, assisting in the development and implementation of quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, quality of life and other outcome measures, monitoring trends and changes in clinical, service and outcomes in various navigation interventions, maintaining high standards for professional development, and acting as a resource, role model and mentor for the professional staff within the Interventional Radiology Department.

Other duties include administering patient care in the Radiology Department for diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilizing assessment techniques, teaching and evaluation to determine effectiveness of care, documenting response to procedures when deemed necessary, and participating in quality improvement activities.
