Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for per diem hospital opportunities in Arlington, Virginia. You will perform radiographic procedures, produce high-quality images, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification preferred
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold or T-SPOT test completed within past year
• MMR and Varicella immunity documented by titers or vaccination records
• Physical examination completed within past year

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per physician orders and protocols
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity during procedures
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment
• Follow radiation-safety and infection-control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and health-care team
• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Provide professional, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute-care setting
