Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for per diem hospital opportunities in Arlington, Virginia. The role offers flexible scheduling with the option to work occasional shifts or a fuller schedule, while maintaining high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Candidates must have an active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification, with BLS preferred and recent acute-care experience. Per diem pay is competitive and daily/weekly pay options are available.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification preferred
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold or T-SPOT test completed within past year
• MMR and Varicella immunity documented by titers or vaccine records
• Recent acute-care radiology experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout each procedure
• Properly operate and maintain radiologic equipment
• Follow radiation-safety standards and infection-control procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Provide professional, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute-care environment
