Zusammenfassung

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform age-appropriate diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, and related procedures in a on-site setting. The role includes QA/QC, image management, and participation in education for radiography students.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold NJ state licensure. BLS certification is required; ARRT board certification is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform age-appropriate diagnostic, OR, and fluoroscopic radiological procedures.
• Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control for radiologic medical equipment as assigned.
• Manage image production including trouble shooting and downtime protocol performance.
• Maintains repeat rates to a minimum through proper use of radiographic equipment, patient position, and accurate technical factors.
• Utilize teleradiology applications to process imaging orders for remote dictation.
• Utilize PACS/EMR systems to process imaging orders including scheduling, order transcribing, billing charges and medication documentation.
• Ensure continuity and adequate follow-through regarding equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, etc.
• Ability to interpret, communicate and deliver age-appropriate care.
• Assess and respond to patients' physical, social, and psychological needs.
• Ability to activate, participate and follow through in emergency events.
• Participating in the clinical education of radiography students, as required.
• Cover on call, as required
• Meet physical demands consistent with the position such as walking, lifting, standing, pushing and pulling.
