Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a licensed radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures with strict adherence to ALARA principles. The role supports our mission to provide high-quality care close to home across South Jersey, working on-site and per diem.

The candidate will document thoroughly, operate RIS/PACS and related systems, and may assist in training new staff, contributing to a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible.
• NJDEP licensure required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to radiologist-approved protocols, while applying radiation safety.
• Documents thoroughly and accurately; verifies orders and pertinent patient information.
• Operates radiographic equipment and hospital systems (RIS, PACS, Web viewer, ADW) safely and effectively.
