Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience required.
• Active Texas PTA License or Compact License required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility improvement programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment outcomes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to facility policies and patient safety guidelines.
