@Home Therapy seeks licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to provide in-home therapy throughout Queens on a per diem basis. This flexible role lets you build a local caseload in your preferred locations.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment under a supervising PT, following care plans, educating patients and caregivers, and completing timely documentation. Requirements: NY PTA license, PTA degree, professional liability insurance, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Current New York State PTA license.
• Physical Therapist Assistant degree from an accredited program.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patients.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A business entity is required for independent contractor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist.
• Follow established plans of care.
• Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising therapist.
