Job summary

@Home Therapy seeks licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to provide in-home therapy across Manhattan on a flexible per diem basis. You will work as an independent contractor, selecting cases by location and availability, supervising PTAs.

Home visits focus on adult and geriatric patients with mobility goals. Responsibilities include implementing plans of care under a supervising PT, documenting progress accurately, and coordinating with caregivers.

Qualifications

• Current New York State PTA license.
• PTA degree from an accredited program.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patients.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A business entity is required for independent contractor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist.
• Follow established plans of care.
• Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising therapist.
