Job summary

North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Therapy Team. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents participate in daily activities and follow treatment plans aimed at improving growth and function.

As a Per Diem/PRN position, you’ll support a growing department, conduct screenings, assist in evaluations, and help implement individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Must have an active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in identifying short- and long-term goals and treatment plans.
