Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support skilled nursing residents in a SNF setting. You will help restore function and guide patients through education and independent exercise plans, under the supervision of licensed therapists.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in PTA and an active PTA license in the state. Proficiency with electronic health records and service delivery software is expected; PRN opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the state in which you work.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Return residents to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals in a SNF setting.
• Instruct residents in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise programs, and activity modification.
