Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Per-Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Hamden, CT. The PTA will provide compassionate therapy services and work with a multidisciplinary team to help residents achieve independence.

The position requires an active CT PTA license or eligibility, strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or licensed eligible to practice in CT.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with electronic documentation systems and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive PTA services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a team environment.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation with attention to detail and professionalism.
