Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Warren Center in Queensbury, NY. The PTA will support the supervising therapist by following the plan of care and assisting residents with therapeutic activities.

Qualified candidates hold a New York State PTA license and have graduated from an accredited PTA program. Evening and weekend hours are available, with mentor and career growth opportunities and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Current New York State PTA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist.
• Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Observe and document resident performance.
• Assist residents with exercises and apply techniques such as stretching and massage.
