Job summary

Aspire Senior Living in Carthage, MO is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will implement treatment plans, guide residents through exercises, and work with an interdisciplinary team to enhance mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in CPR/AED.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other activities based on resident needs.
• Monitor and document progress, reporting any changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care.
