Requirements:

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS


• Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Emergency Medications, External ventricular drain (EVD), GI surgery, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Lumbar drains, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, BiPAP/CPAP management, Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, PICC line management, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Sheath Removal, Spinal cord injury, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Traumatic Brain injury, Ventilator Management
