Seven Hills Children's Aid and Family Services seeks an Early Educator – Teacher in Worcester, MA. This per diem role supports a lead teacher, helping create a welcoming preschool classroom where children are valued and engaged.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, building relationships with families, and maintaining a safe learning environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and teacher certification or CDA candidacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Valid driver's license (class C or D) needed.
• Teacher certification or equivalent credential required.
• Experience with early childhood education preferred.
• Able to meet program requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, caring classroom environment for preschoolers.
• Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Assist with classroom management using positive guidance.
• Maintain organized, stimulating, and safe learning spaces.
• Complete documentation and recordkeeping for the classroom.
• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers.
• Step in as lead teacher when needed and participate in staff meetings.
