Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking a Pre-OP/PACU Registered Nurse - Per Diem to join our surgical team at the Main location in Reno, NV. You will support patients by explaining procedures, medications, and what to expect in surgery, and help ensure a smooth perioperative experience.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients under local anesthesia, documenting care, assisting with transfers, and maintaining safety readiness.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience.
• CCU/ICU exposure preferred.

Responsabilités

• Explain procedures, medications, and what to expect in surgery to patients.
• Monitor patients under local anesthesia and document care.
• Assist in transferring patients and maintain safety readiness.
• Perform narcotic counts and crash cart checks at end of day.
• Adhere to emergency procedures and rapid response protocols.
