Dermacore Wound Care is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our mobile wound care team on a per diem basis. You will provide hands-on wound care in patients’ homes, exercising clinical independence with an experienced interdisciplinary team.
You will manage assessments, documentation, and treatment plans while traveling within the service area. A valid PA license and national certification are required; mileage reimbursement is provided and W-2, non-exempt employment is offered.
Per Diem Physician Assistant – Mobile Wound Care Position
Summary
Dermacore Wound Care is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our mobile wound care team on a per diem basis. This role provides hands-on, patient-centered wound care in patients’ homes and other community-based settings, combining clinical independence with the support of an experienced interdisciplinary team.
Our providers take ownership of the full patient experience—from assessment and treatment to documentation, communication, coordination, and follow-up. We are looking for a provider who is confident working independently in the field while staying connected and collaborative with the broader care team.
This is a per diem position with flexible scheduling based on provider availability, patient census, geographic coverage, and operational needs.
Patient volume and assignments may vary, and a minimum number of patient visits or hours is not guaranteed. Local travel to patient homes and/or facilities within the assigned service area is required. Travel of up to approximately 55 miles may be required depending on patient location and geographic coverage.
Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible business travel in accordance with Company policy.
No routine on-call requirement.
The per-visit rate includes the work associated with completing the patient visit, including the clinical encounter, required documentation and charting, communication with agencies and other members of the care team, communication with patients and families/caregivers as appropriate, and routine follow-up associated with the visit.
