Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Physical Therapist for per diem coverage at the Washington, MO campus. The role requires assessing patients, planning individualized therapies, and supervising rehab staff.

Schedule includes Saturdays, one holiday per year, and shifts during the week at IP or OP as needed. Qualifications include a PT degree (BS/MS/DPt), current PT licensure in Missouri, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; certifications must be current before caring for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy preferred for adult/geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervise rehabilitation technicians; oversee PT assistants as per State Practice Acts.
