Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab in White Plains, NY is recruiting a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Martine Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a compassionate team in a skilled nursing facility.

You will evaluate residents, develop rehabilitation plans, and implement treatment programs designed to relieve pain and improve function.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands‑on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
