Sigma Health Rehab in New Paltz, NY is recruiting a per diem Physical Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to relieve pain and improve function.

New grads welcomed; mentorship and clinical support are provided to help you grow. Our therapists work in a state-of-the-art rehab gym with flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.
