Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time, per diem Physical Therapist to provide examinations, evaluations, and interventions to determine prognosis and update care plans. The role supports clinical and operational needs and aims to improve rehab service utilization.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, NJ licensure, CPR certification, and, for home care roles, a valid driver’s license and insurance proof. Hourly rate listed. Per diem benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (APTA-accredited program) required.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR certification.
• For home care staff, valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy examination and evaluation to determine prognosis, provide intervention, and update plan of care.
• Assists manager/supervisor with clinical and operational issues.
• Works with manager to improve processes and utilization of rehab services.
• Consults with medical and other professionals to provide optimum patient care and effective operations.
• Demonstrates evaluation skills and modifies plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains patient records and documentation in a timely manner.
