Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform examinations, determine prognosis, provide intervention, and update the care plan. You will assist the manager with clinical and operational issues and help improve rehab service utilization.

Responsibilities include collaborating with medical staff to ensure high‑quality patient care, evaluating interventions, maintaining records, and guiding PTAs and aides.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current licensure in New Jersey required.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for home care work.

Responsibilities

• Consults with medical and ancillary professionals to provide optimum patient care and effective operations.
• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions; modifies plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains evaluations, patient records, reports and documentation in accordance with guidelines.
• Effectively utilizes PTAs, aides and other support staff as appropriate.
• Communicates with patient and/or family with education and materials suited to the patient’s age and cultural needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Current licensure in the State of New Jersey

CPR certification

Valid driver’s license
