Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, a leader in health care, is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington to support home health patients under a supervising PT. You will perform treatment, educate patients, and follow the established plan of care.

The role offers a mix of per visit point pay and hourly compensation, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth. Weekend rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed PTA in Washington state.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care under the supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety and prosthetic training.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT/nurse/physician.
• Coordinates care with other healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Able to function in home settings regardless of age, race, or disability.
