Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Physical Therapist-Per Diem to join a dedicated therapy team. Under supervision of Therapy Leadership, you will perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients, while supervising rehab staff as required.

The role requires a current Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and availability for at least one Saturday per month and select holidays; IP or OP shifts may be involved.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification. Required certifications must be current before care for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist; experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Education

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
