Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH is hiring a Per Diem Clinical Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist for varied shifts in the hospital laboratory. You will perform patient registration, central processing, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and distribution according to lab protocol.

Responsibilities include collecting and labeling specimens, drawing blood with proper technique, entering orders, and preparing samples for testing while maintaining competency in procedures and quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, and sort specimens.
• Draw blood using proper technique with accurate patient identification.
• Key and record patient information and lab orders in information systems.
• Prepare specimens for testing and manage labeling and storage.
• Maintain competency in phlebotomy procedures and protocols.
