Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center’s Laboratory is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist for per diem, varied shifts in Nashua, NH. The role includes patient registration, central processing, phlebotomy, and specimen handling.

You’ll draw blood, ensure patient identification, prepare specimens, and maintain quality documentation. A High School diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred; 1–3 years lab experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of Laboratory experience preferred.

State-of-the-art technology enables doctors to provide our patients with the most accurate diagnoses and the most effective treatment.About the Job:The Clinical Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist performs duties of Patient Registration, Central Processing and Phlebotomy. The incumbent will also perform specimen collection, receiving and distribution of specimens to the appropriate technical departments and will perform documentation of quality exceptions according to Laboratory protocol.What You’ll Do:Collect, receive, and sort specimens.Draw blood using proper technique.
