Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician I for a per diem, onsite role. The technician will support safe, timely pharmacy services by preparing, labeling, and distributing unit-dose medications and outpatient prescriptions, delivering supplies, and maintaining accurate storage and inventory.

You will work under the supervision of a staff pharmacist, use pharmacy information systems, and participate in departmental projects and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician license for the state required.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, label, and distribute unit-dose medications.
• Deliver medications and supplies to patient care areas.
• Audit medication storage areas and escalate discrepancies.
• Assist onboarding/training of junior staff and participate in quality/safety initiatives.
• Operate pharmacy information systems and related tools.
