Job summary

Elliot Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician I to join the inpatient team on per diem variable shifts. You will support pharmacists, coordinate with nursing staff, and ensure accurate preparation and distribution of medications across the hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NH Board of Pharmacy Registration required.
• National and NH Board of Pharmacy certification required.
• One year of previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NH Drug laws preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and prepares all patient specific medications as per provider order for pharmacist check.
• Distributes prepared medications to health system locations.
• Maintains automated dispensing cabinet medication inventory.
• Triages telephone calls to appropriate pharmacy personnel.
• Performs monthly floor inspections to assigned area locations.
• Triages nursing staff electronic communications to pharmacists.
• Serves as pharmacist operational support during assigned shifts.
