Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Milford, DE to support dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under supervision. The role requires customer service excellence and compliance with federal/state regulations.

Primary duties include filling prescriptions, stocking supplies, and processing orders, with shifts Monday through Friday 8:30am–5:00pm. Onsite work experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of previous healthcare experience.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work onsite at 21 W Clarke Ave. Suite 1415, Milford, DE 19963, Monday through Friday between 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned
