Pharmacy Technician
We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Hours
Per Diem working on a need basis covering PTO, callouts and other business needs. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:00pm to 12:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
- Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Ability to work onsite at 625 W Elm Ave. Suite P Hanover, PA 17331 with a per diem schedule
- Access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous technician experience
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Compensation
Hourly pay ranging from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more.
