Thompson Health in Canandaigua, NY, is seeking a per diem Pharmacy Technician to assist with medication preparation and clerical duties under pharmacist supervision. The role requires weekend Saturday availability and offers a pay range of $19.48 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Candidates with high school education and familiarity with Word/Excel will be considered; pharmacy technician certification and NYS license are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School education with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification & NYS license preferred.
• Starting pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the nonprofessional aspects of preparing and distributing medications.
• Performs the clerical duties of the department under the direct supervision of licensed personnel (Registered Pharmacists).
