Job summary

Capsule, a modern pharmacy with national reach, is seeking a pharmacist to support in-person operations at our Phoenix site. The role focuses on processing prescriptions, inventory control, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced workflow.

You will interact with doctors, insurers, and customers, delivering accurate medication counseling and coordinating with couriers for efficient deliveries. Arizona license and 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience including prescription processing and customer inquiries.
• Strong focus on customer experience and pharmacy process improvement.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Learn Capsule systems and manage internal and external pharmacy operations.
• Process prescriptions, fill orders, manage inventory, and handle customer inquiries.
• Communicate with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth customer experience and coordinate with courier team.
• Provide counseling and drug information for prescription and OTC items.

About the Role

• Learn our systems thoroughly, managing both internal and external pharmacy operations
• Be a team player, handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries
• Communicate well with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow and work with our courier team to handle deliveries efficiently
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items

Requirements

• You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries
• You hold a valid Pharmacist License inthis state
• You are ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences, days off, or scheduled time off
• You understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
• You must be able to pass a background check and drug test as a requirement of employment
• You are available to work within operating hours:Per Diem hours - Monday - Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday - Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm (Please note, this is an in-person position)
