Job summary

Capsule is a pharmacy delivering medications same-day, free of charge. We are looking for a Per Diem Pharmacist in Denver to ensure accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders.

You will learn our systems, handle processing, filling, inventory and inquiries, and work with doctors, insurers, and couriers for smooth delivery and customer experience. You will provide counseling on prescription and OTC items, with shifts during operating hours Mon-Fri 9:30 AM–6:00 PM and Sat/Sun 10:00 AM–3:00

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries.
• Valid Pharmacist License in this state.
• Willingness to cover unplanned absences or time off as needed.
• Ability to analyze and improve pharmacy processes.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Handle prescription orders: processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries.

About the Role

As a Per Diem Pharmacist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Learn our systems thoroughly, managing both internal and external pharmacy operations
• Be a team player, handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries
• Communicate well with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow and work with our courier team to handle deliveries efficiently
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items

You are available to work within operating hours: Per Diem shifts during hours of operation:

• Mon-Fri 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Sat/Sun 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Requirements

• You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries
• You hold a valid Pharmacist License inthis state
• You are ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences, days off, or scheduled time off
• You understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
• You must be able to pass a background check and drug test as a requirement of employment
