Qualifications

• Ability to supervise staff and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• May act as Pharmacy Manager in absence of Pharmacy Manager.
• Contact physicians regarding prescriptions and irregularities.
• Dispense prescriptions, prepare I.V. admixtures if applicable.
• Monitor therapy for contraindications and interactions.
• Maintain medication records and inventory; supervise technicians.
