Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
• Registered Pharmacist - issued by the state of California (RPH)
• Incumbents can meet the minimum experience qualifications for this position in 1 of 3 ways: 1) possesses a PGY2 or 2) possesses a PGY1 plus 1 year of pharmacist experience, or 3) possesses 4 years of pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication counseling in the pharmacy and at the patient's bedside as part of the UCSD Med to Bed program.
• Serve as preceptor to pharmacy residents and students and participate in committees.
• Work variable shifts to include weekends, holidays and overtime; rotate to all pharmacy areas/sites.

Education
