Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care for patients, nurses and physicians. The role supports quality health services and patient care in a hospital setting.

You will dispense medications, interpret IV orders, supervise support staff and oversee accurate records. A WA pharmacist license and BLS certification are required or preferred, with residency experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders.
• Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain records.
• Supervise support personnel and ensure final check of all completed work.
• Assist in inspection of pharmaceutical supplies on all services.
• Provide safe and accurate pharmaceutical care services.
